We were recently watching a show where the characters were throwing eggs at a business. My first thought was “do they know the COST of eggs?” I realize the prices are becoming more stable, so it was with great zeal that I decided to make deviled eggs again.
I must not be going to the right picnics in the summertime, as this delight is only served by Big Guy’s side of the family during the holidays. I usually cue up immediately and grab three or four before the family swarms in and empties the plate to get my fix for the year even though it is NOT my made my way. Here comes the controversy, but I like my deviled eggs with pickle relish in the mix served with part of a slice of bacon on top. If that makes me “bougee,” I will manage my side of the argument with a smile on my lips and joy in my heart!
