CHAVAS MEXICAN RESTAURANT

Big Guy and I spent part of the day with our niece, @abrandt1026, and her beautiful baby girl.  The afternoon was stunning which seemed to harken pleasant days ahead while spending time at Faust Park.
Once it was time for the little one to head home for her nap, we decided to head to Soulard for an overdue visit to @chavasmexicanrestaurant. It was the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy a great authentic Mexican style meal.

We started with excellent chips, salsa, and queso. It was a day where I decided to do a little day drinking and opted for their Cadillac Margarita! It was twenty ounces of goodness!

We both decided to order the Fried Tacos de Guadalajara. If you have never had a fried taco, this is the place to go as ours were stuffed with seasoned ground beef, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cheese.

It was a terrific meal, reasonably priced, and excellent service! It is always worth the trip to Soulard for a great experience.
