FIRST BLT OF THE SEASON!

Big Guy planted our tomatoes in @carondeletgarden, but the warmer weather already had me craving my first BLT of the summer.

We had a package of @stoniessausage peppered bacon in the freezer as well as lettuce and basil from @carondeletgarden. We stopped by @thesummitallseasonsmarket to pick up two Missouri tomatoes so we could accomplish making the perfect sandwich.

Big Guy toasted the bread and stacked the sandwiches beautifully using basil and @dukes_mayonnaise as the “glue” to hold it all together. We added some leftover French fries from @mcdonalds as a side and our lunch was complete.
