Kitchen-Made Chocolate Chip Cookies

Big Guy was taking a well-deserved nap, so I decided to bake chocolate chip cookies. I have not made a batch of these cookies in quite some time, so it was basic and still rewarding to return to this childhood favorite.

I had a bag of @ghirardelli chocolate chips and @fishernutsbrand roasted pecans, so I did not have to think about running to the store. Do you not love it when you wish to bake something, and you have the ingredients at your fingertips?

The aroma filled the house and Big Guy slowly woke up to a special treat. He was one happy fella!
