Learning and Fun at Third Degree Glass

I have read that one must remain curious and active. The article stated that trying new things is key to successful aging.

Big Guy and I have always loved doing experience activities with our chosen family, so we are always up for something new. As the youngest is into artistic activities, we signed up for an Introduction to Flameworking class @thirddegreeglass. Bear and I were excited by the curriculum, but both apprehensive about working with fire and glass.

It was great to see our instructor, @it_sparks_joy, leading the class. I had seen her work in the hot shop and knew she would lead us well and safely.

It was wonderful to have this shared experience with my goddaughter. We have a greater appreciation for glassworks and the high skill level it takes to make beautiful things!
