Big Guy and I enjoyed our visit to @pietrosstl for our weekly happy hour. It is always great to hang out and visit with the staff and the regulars.
I decided to order the Tenderloins of Beef Marsala and was delighted with my choice. The beef was perfectly cooked in a delicious wine sauce with peppers and mushrooms. I once again ordered more food than I could eat in one serving, so I asked for my take home container with an idea for a great follow up meal. I sliced up the beef into smaller bites and heated them up in a brown gravy sauce. I poured the ingredients over cooked egg noodles, and I had my own version of Beef Stroganoff which I served with our leftover bread. It was the perfect “new” meal on a cold winter’s day!
