Is there anything better than a meatloaf on a chilly weather day? The kitchen was filled with the aromas of onions, bacon, and finally the meatloaf. Heaven.
I know family recipes vary when it comes to meatloaf, but Big Guy and I opt for adding sauteed onions and bacon to our ground chuck along with eggs and panko for binding the entire mix together. We divided the mix into three pans so we could eat one right away, freeze one for later, and create a meal for our lovely niece, @abrandt1026 to fill our bellies while we attempt to make Christmas candles. I just love days when cooking is a priority so we can show our love through food. Here’s to more days in the holiday season filling @carondeletkitchen with delicious treats for all!
