It happened! The symphony of vegetables and herbs came in together so we could make our first bruschetta of the year!
We stopped for bread and cheese, sorry to disappoint you that I did not make it myself, so we could bring together this taste of summer. Big Guy has the magic touch when it comes to toasting the bread while I mixed the tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil and a touch of balsamic to brighten the ingredients. We opened a lovely bottle of wine thanks to @bethelheightsvineyard, asked Alexa to play easy listening jazz, and dinner was served. The perfect way to “cool” off in this heat wave!
