Our First Bruschetta of the Summer!

It happened! The symphony of vegetables and herbs came in together so we could make our first bruschetta of the year!

We stopped for bread and cheese, sorry to disappoint you that I did not make it myself, so we could bring together this taste of summer. Big Guy has the magic touch when it comes to toasting the bread while I mixed the tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil and a touch of balsamic to brighten the ingredients.

We opened a lovely bottle of wine thanks to @bethelheightsvineyard, asked Alexa to play easy listening jazz, and dinner was served. The perfect way to “cool” off in this heat wave!
