It has been a busy week, so I decided to make a proper home cooked meal. As I surveyed my freezer and pantry, I found the ingredients to make pasta carbonara.
It is a quick meal to make as I usually use bacon, onion, garlic, pasta, and white sauce. I know the actual recipe calls for an egg as well, but I am fine with leaving it out of my version. I added bread and wine to the table, and we were ready to eat. As Ina would say, “how easy is that?”
