PREPARING FOR THE HOLIDAYS

I cannot believe that my week has been full of prep for the holidays. Big Guy got the Christmas cards designed and over to @thedonedept while I bought the stamps and got the list ready.

We even had to pull the tree up from the basement, to wait for it, see if the lights worked this year. No, I have not started decorating, but I am truly taking my time to track the wires and the lights to guarantee a working tree this year. Sigh!

The best part of prep is ordering our annual treat from @theswisscolony. It was a family tradition my parents started when my brother and I were kids. It was always a joy, and a bit of a fight, to see who got the petit fours or candy first! Big Guy and I continue the tradition of honoring my family and remembering them each year at this special time.

Now, back to the joy of Thanksgiving! Bring on the turkey!
