I am known to be empathetic, which can even include my kitchen tools. As I was searching through my pots and pans, I found my lonely wok sitting in the back of the cabinet. It was time to pull it out and put it back into my cooking rotation.
I had most of the ingredients between my pantry, freezer, and @carondeletgarden. I stopped by the store for water chestnuts and a stir fry sauce, and we were ready to prepare our meal and stir it up! We used peppers, onions, beef, brown rice, water chestnuts, and stir fry sauce. It took minutes to cook everything into a wonderful quick meal. Why oh why did this lovely pan and the dishes it creates become relegated to the back of the cabinet!
