I love haunting the markets that pop up around the Lou throughout the year. Today was another delightful experience when we stopped by the Summertime Market @perennialbeer. The promotional flyer promised over twenty vendors and “groovy tunes” in the barrel room of Perennial Beer.
We arrived and the crowd was already filling up the vendor space along with the tasting room for the beer and the eating area for @bigmouth_stl. We loved the vibe and the friendliness of everyone. We had a lovely conversation, and shared sympathy, with @hineherbary by our challenge to grow cilantro. The cuteness and themes of the cards @clementinenco created tough decisions on which cards to buy without getting the whole lot. We never turn down a taste of jelly and the smoked jellies @smokehousejellies were out of this world. We even remembered our pup, Boony Doon, as we picked up a new flower for her collar and special treats @schmookiesdogtreats. We hope this fun market continues at other times of the year. It introduced us to makers we have not met yet but hope to see often!
