TORTELLINI CARBONARA MASH UP
I had leftover bacon and a red pepper in the refrigerator that was “screaming” to be used before it expired. I decided to sauté the red pepper, then add it to a white sauce with the bacon. I added Italian spices and the sauce was ready. We tend to keep frozen pasta on hand for days when I want to cook a quick meal. I grabbed the bag of @louisafoods beef and pork tortellini and added it to the boiling water. At the same time, I placed @phillsbury rolls into the oven. This meal could be an homage to @rachaelray and her famous thirty-minute meals. It was a lovely and easy meal to make on a busy day.
