A LITTLE Mouse Door in a Tree!

Big Guy and I have lived in Carondelet for thirty-four years and still love our neighborhood. We are surrounded by terrific neighbors not only on our street, but many streets surrounding us thanks to Holly Doodle opening the door to introductions.

I was out walking on Bellerive enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. I love to unplug from all media and just “listen to the pretty” as my uncle used to say about nature.

If I had been “plugged up,” I would have missed this adorable piece of whimsy…a miniature door. I giggled thinking of Mr. and Mrs. Mouse and their children perhaps living behind the door. Or is it a tree elf?
Just another reason I love the city. Creative and happy people all living together and bringing joy to this old walker.
