You would think I live at the store with my cooking habit, but I try to buy multiple meals, so I limit my grocery shopping to twice a month. It never fails that I will get home and realize that I forgot the one item I went to get at the store. I know I can call my neighbor in a pinch for a “cup of sugar,” but it annoys me since I always have a list. Fortunately, we are out every day so picking up the missing item is never an issue.
I use my Alexa to build my shopping list which makes it easy to add butter to my grocery list. What has become an issue, or it is just funny, is when she does not hear me correctly and puts something on the list that makes no sense. You can imagine my surprise when I checked my list recently and it said I needed a kangaroo. Big Guy and I stood in the middle of the aisle trying to decipher this one. It finally dawned on him that that we added Tanqueray to the list. AH! I can assure you no kangaroos were bought and cooked in my kitchen, but it is fun to tell our friends this story and see how long it takes them to figure out our intended list item.
