Antique Martini Shaker for a Martini Afficionado!

Do you like your martini shaken or stirred? I tend to side with James Bond who is famously quoted as wanting his martinis “shaken, not stirred.”

Big Guy and I have a fully stocked bar, but our tools needed a refresh. My tiny little martini shaker would leak every time I used it which we all know is “alcohol abuse.” Insert rim shot here!

My friends know too well that I could not settle for another one off the shelf of my local liquor store, so Big Guy and I added to our antique market quest the idea of finding an antique shaker. We were recently rewarded with this beauty @thehillantiquemarket.

I love the markings on the side that tell you, and show you, how much of each ingredient to add to the shaker to make different cocktails beside the martini. Obviously, these are party portions, but I will “suffer” through downsizing it for my happy hour crowd of two!
