Big Guy and I decided to head southwest to check out some antique places in Rolla. I know, ROLLA? It was a beautiful day, and our Explorer was gassed up and ready to go.
Other than the construction outside of Rolla, the trip was smooth and clear of any traffic issues. We started our day @pineyriveram. What a wonderful antique mall! It was well curated, and each booth pulled us further into the store seeking special treasures. Big Guy was delighted to find a Win Schuler cheese crock which is now on display in the Carondelet Kitchen. I cannot wait to pull out my mom’s Win Schuler cheese recipe and fill it up! We next hit part of historic route 66 and found @reddoorgifts in downtown Rolla. It was chuck full of fun Fall items which got me excited to come home and pull out my home decorations. We rolled through the heart of Missouri S & T watching the students running from building to building and reminiscing about our time as students at Webster College/University. I sure do not miss those days, but I have many fond memories especially meeting my Big Guy. We rounded out our time with our final stop @rollaantiquemall. The mall boasts having over 300 vendors and they were not kidding. We spent over an hour just walking through it and enjoying the displays. We were quite happy to get into our car and head home after a full day of exploring these fun places in Rolla.
