apple pie for the holidays!

I never thought apple pie would become synonymous with Carondelet Kitchen. I guess it is the burden I carry for being named the “queen of apple pie” by my MIL.

The only mistake I have made is sharing this pie with my extended chosen family. I almost caused a fight last year with the elders when I slipped an extra pie in the mix for an out-of-town family member. I never would have believed I could create family drama with my food. One for the history books!
