Are You Listening to Me?

I understand folks are concerned about our devices, such as “Alexa,” listening to us. I find it rather comical since the feedback I get most is a recipe idea for something I said needed to be used immediately out of the refrigerator. Ham empanadas? Egg casserole? Potato salad?

You can imagine my surprise the other day when the Big Guy and I discussed making truffle pasta for dinner. We not only got a recipe suggestion from our “Echo Show,” but my CNN feed shared a video of Stanley Tucci making this dish for his crew on his Searching for Italy series.

Before you worry about my mental well-being, I do know that Stanley Tucci is not listening to me. That was just luck of timing between a show advertisement and our menu for the week. Although, I must admit my version of this pasta was not prepared with fresh truffles and homemade pasta. Envy alert!
