Beach House Discovery

My parents were snowbirds for over fifteen years spending half a year in their condo in Florida. The Big Guy and I were fortunate to share time with them soaking in the tropical winds and beach drinks.

In the beginning it was like vacation. Once we got used to this second “home,” it was interesting to see our thoughts change over to temporarily “living” in a different state. What banks do they have here? Where is the nearest pharmacy? What restaurants do the locals visit?

The condo is long-gone, but we still use our Tervis Tumblers which were a big discovery for us. It was not only fun to drink out of the glasses, but they kept our drinks cool, and the glass dry of condensation on a summer’s day.

I still love to grab one of these glasses, make a beach drink and dream of returning to that “one particular harbor!”  Shout out to Jimmy Buffet for giving our piece of heaven a perfect song!
