Do you ever get food inspiration from watching a movie? Big Guy and I sure did as we watched Paddington. For those who don’t know, Paddington is a fabulous story authored by Michael Bond about a lone teddy bear on a shelf in a London store near Paddington station on Christmas Eve in 1956.
The movie, of course, changed up the story line but one thing was very clear. Paddington LOVED orange marmalade. It certainly sounded like a fantastic treat, so we started our search for a recipe. Again, thank you Ina Garten, for a solid basic recipe. The recipe was perfect for beginners and all natural which I certainly appreciate. I look forward to making it again but this time I will look for a recipe that pulls the essence of the rinds out but produces more of the jelly since I did not enjoy biting into a rind with my muffin. The joy of learning new recipes is to take the best part and enhance it the second time around!
