Do you have a favorite take out food? Big Guy and I tend to go for Chinese food especially on a night when we are tired and do not have the energy to make dinner.
It seemed only natural that once I did have the energy, it would be time to try and do a stir fry at home. Why do I have a wok pan if I never plan to use it? I hit the Asian aisle at my grocery store with a recipe in mind. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I did not have to buy four bottles of different sauces as there was one bottle named, “stir fry sauce.” As I reviewed the ingredients in the bottle, they were the same combination as my recipe. I was excited to try it knowing I would save space in my refrigerator. The outcome was good and filling for lunch. I admit I will never attempt to make a complicated Asian recipe when we have so many fantastic restaurants in St. Louis, but it was fun to make a basic recipe for a quick meal.
