Chihuly in the Garden

My Big Guy is the perfect blend of man. He loves the arts, cooking, and our beloved Billikens. When it comes to art, he truly enjoys the process of glass blowing. He has long been a fan of Dale Chihuly so the return of his exhibit, Chihuly in the Garden 2023, to the Missouri Botanical Garden was a must on our to-do list.

I remember the first time he mentioned his love of Chihuly’s work. I was getting ready for a business trip to Seattle, Washington which is the home state for Mr. Chihuly. As I went about my business, I foolishly thought I could find Big Guy a small piece to bring home as a surprise. Even in 1999, I could not afford a paper weight, so Big Guy got an exhaustive book of Chihuly’s work.

Big Guy still has the book, and bless his heart, holds on to it as a treasure. We are blessed beyond words in St. Louis to once again host this great artist. Grab a friend and head over to MO BO. You will not be disappointed!
