Big Guy and I wanted to see the Chihuly exhibit @mobotgarden one last time. The genius in our decision is the fact we are in a new season, and it was darker at an earlier time, so we did not have to rush around to see everything.
I captured this beautiful picture. I was not only struck by the artistry of Dale Chihuly, but by the way the different seasons capture his artwork. In this case, I knew I was experiencing the display in Fall, but was immediately transported into thinking about Halloween. The bright orange, red, and yellows against a dark skyline made me wonder what creations our kiddos would wear this year for that magical day. I thought about Halloween movies with witches riding their brooms across the night sky. Does it make you think the same thing?
