Big Guy and I used to make the Thanksgiving meal each year for family before we all scattered to different cities. Our go to favorite was to make the Cranberry Conserve instead of that “thing” that slimed out of a can. Sorry, not my thing.
I am sure you are wondering why I am writing about this now when it is still tropical outside. Well, I found that I could “ca-jar” it and have it handy when I make a brie. There is something decadent about this rich and sassy mixture that just elevates wine and cheese night. Also, don’t worry if you wish to make it fresh. You can always find cranberries in the freezer section of your grocery store. I’ll write more about brie later but keep on cooking and experimenting with your food. It is certainly my therapy in these stressful times!
