Creekside Gardens in Illinois

Big Guy and I love to garden, and our little cottage shines in the summertime with the love we can give it now that we are both retired. I was recently asked what my favorite activity in the garden is, and hands down, I love to go to nurseries and garden centers to look for new plants to add to my various beds.

Here is a huge shout out to @englishgardener67 for turning us on to @gcreeksidegardensil in Collinsville, Illinois. The size of the place blew us away. There were over 25 polytunnels full of plants and half a football field of mums ready for fall planting.

I honestly did not know where to look first so we ended up spending over an hour walking the rows before deciding on a couple more Hosta plants for our new shade garden. As we checked out, the cashier encouraged us to return after Winter when the garden center is overflowing with the colors of Spring. It is a date!
