I wish I could report I have been cooking up a storm, but the reality is I have been taking down my Christmas decorations. Assuming the weather folks are right, I want the work done so I can sit down and watch the weather with my fireplace ablaze, a cup of tea, and an enjoyable book.
I am thankful Big Guy is tolerant, but my tree is my pride and joy. I have been collecting ornaments for over forty years which means any additions have to be unique and special to join the ranks of my Waterford, Radko, Lenox, and Shiny Brights ornaments. Luckily, we visited @thehillantiquemarket and found five extraordinary vintage ornaments to add to the collection. They are a perfect bridge between my newer ornaments and the vintage ones I inherited from my parents. Sigh! Time to get back to work carefully packing away my treasures…until next Christmas!
