It seems like I have gotten away from making fancy desserts. My grandmother was the trend setter in my youth making everything from Dump Cake to Caramel Popcorn. In case you are wondering, Dump Cake is an old recipe made with canned fruit.
Today I am going through my cookbooks trying to decide on a new recipe to try for Easter. My boy has been excited to see what I am going to make next, and he is not a sweet eater. Poor child since I have been tempting him seasonally to break his diet! Obviously, he is my son from another mother since Big Guy and I love sweets. What to make, what to make! I know we are making the ham, so I will decide quickly since I will have to make my dessert on Saturday to keep the oven free for Sunday!
