Egg Noodles

I find it interesting observing the food that young children eat. Do chicken fingers, mac and cheese, and cheese pizza sound familiar?

In my day, it was egg noodles with salt and butter. I could not get enough of it. It was always my mom’s go to meal for me if I turned my nose up at dinner, which happened a lot the year I discovered cows had big brown eyes!

I do not eat it too often anymore, but on a cold rainy day, it is comfort food that takes me back to my childhood. Now I just need a warm blanket and a good book to make my day complete after that meal.
