Happy St. Paddy’s Day! Whether or not you are Irish, it is the day to wear the green, drink a good Irish beer or whiskey, and enjoy the comfort food of this tremendous island.

St. Louis offers so many options to mark the day. My best memories are spending time in a pub drinking Irish beer and listening to the reels and jigs of the house band. It was always the best time to get together with family and friends while forgetting your troubles for a few hours.

Whether you celebrate like a leprechaun, watch Quiet Man, read the Irish County Doctor, or work on a themed puzzle, be safe and enjoy the day! May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm on your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
