Fall Candy

I walked into the grocery store the other day and saw the positive sign of Fall and Halloween. Peanuts and candy corn! I do not know if this is a Saint Louis thing, but it has become an annual treat in the Carondelet Kitchen.

Big Guy and I normally are not sweet eaters, but you would never know it in the month of October. There is nothing more satisfying than our “payday” homage of peanuts and candy corn, M and M salad, along with chocolate covered pretzels.

I stole a page from my previous neighbor by creating this “charcuterie” board of delicious delights. Please do not share this picture with my doctor!
