Fall is Coming!

Big Guy and I just love the fall.  We get giddy seeing the pumpkins, apples and squashes come into the farmer’s market.  I realize we can get these items from the store but there is something special about getting apples locally and fresh off the tree. 

I bought these apples to use in other recipes, but it has me dreaming of apple butter, apple pies and apple brandy.  The latter is especially good on a cool night in front of our fire pit.

So, start thinking of your Fall recipes.  If Starbucks can bring out their pumpkin spice latte already, I guess I can start thinking about my apple recipes!
