It was stock up day at the Carondelet Kitchen. The poor Amazon person did not know what hit them between the paper products, cleaning items, and the dog treats and food.
As the Big Guy brought in the boxes, I moved things around to make sure our pantry remained organized and current with pending expiration dates. Remember, I made a promise NOT to let anything else go south after the great cry of missing an expired strawberry jam. When it comes to the dog food, I keep it in a rolling and sealed container to keep out my fur baby, and God forbid, any other creepy crawlies. Doodle gave me a reminder about fresh being better as I started my routine. I put the remaining older food in a bowl and had just poured out the new bag. As I turned to grab the bowl of older food to top off the container, I could hear the happy sound of my Doodle eating the new food I had just opened a second ago. It is amazing even pups know the difference between fresh and old food! Nice refresher, Doodle!
