I tend to gravitate to the garlic cheese bread at the grocery store. I am not picky about getting it fresh or picking up a box from the freezer. It just elevates any meal.
I recently realized that I was too far into my meal prep when I noticed I did not have a box of frozen garlic cheese bread. What was I to do? My MIL would have sent Big Guy packing to the store, but I try to avoid that call unless I am really desperate for an ingredient. In this case, I grabbed the loaf of bread, butter, garlic salt, and Imo’s cheese. I toasted the bread with butter and garlic salt, then added enough cheese to melt to the perfect consistency on top of the bread. It was perfect, and better yet, I did not have to panic about a missing part of my meal.
