Grandma Mueller’s Caramel Popcorn

I had to do it! I could not let the holiday season go by without making my grandma’s caramel popcorn. It is one of my favorite recipes which I love to share with family and friends.

I remember going to a holiday party and getting the same look my dad used to get when he brought in his fruitcake. “How interesting, you brought popcorn?!” Once I explained it was a family recipe, I noticed there were frequent visitors to the bowl with a request for the recipe the next day!

I wish I could say I have fond memories of eating this popcorn with my grandma, but I feel her with me every time someone tells me how good it is and do I have the “anecdote” to make them stop eating it.
