Big Guy and I love breakfast food. We had been keeping our eye on @hatchdinstl since it opened in the old Quincy Street Bistro space on Gravois in 2022. We stopped by when they first opened and really enjoyed the food, but you could tell they were experiencing the bumps that happen during a soft opening. We were not deterred knowing the industry and the timing following COVID.
The good news is they are now humming along and certainly deserve your business. Big Guy enjoyed their Bizzle and Grizzle which included two eggs, buttermilk biscuits, sausage gravy, and sausage. I went for the Cherokee Street Hustler, which was an omelet made with chorizo, onion, jalapeno, green chili, salsa, Queso, and Pico. Outstanding food at a fair price and friendly service from Jasmine. Well done!
