I started writing my blog thanks to what some would say is a major life experience. In my case, it was not catastrophic, but it was the life changing decision to retire.
While I intend to never work again, it does not mean I cannot be touched by those who are pivoting in their lives to make a change. I recently spoke to Rikki Techner @mind_body_skin_care at the Rockwell Beer Market. She spoke of COVID being the changing point for her as she could no longer work and experienced a move back to Saint Louis. She found purpose in starting her business and becoming a licensed esthetician. Wow! I visited @eurnicejean and learned about the pivot in her life to make candles that were allergy free. She even named her business after the strong female influences in her family. Outstanding! We visit booth after booth, market after market, and continue to hear these stories of inspiration. Saint Louis is lucky to have so many makers who have found their purpose to give the people of Saint Louis fantastic products to buy locally!
