Looking to 2024

Big Guy and I skated around COVID for years, but it finally hit our little cottage. It was terrible to find this unwanted visitor in our home for the holidays, but we were determined to look for the positive. Pun intended.

As we move into 2024, we continue to count our blessings. First, our family and friends are tremendously supportive and are always at hand to remind us life is good. We love you all!

Second, we have retired well together and look forward to getting up every day to explore our part of the world. Obviously, during gardening season, we get to look in wonder at the beautiful plants and vegetables displayed in our various gardens surrounding our little cottage.

Third, we are happy to be life-long learners keeping our conversations lively and relevant to the world around us. It obviously includes new recipes and ideas for the Carondelet Kitchen!

Finally, we are grateful for our IG friends who read and encourage us to keep up being a “super cool old couple.” We adore being a part of this engaged and caring community!
