Big Guy was looking for novel items he could buy me for the kitchen last year for my birthday. He read an article in the Wall Street Journal about mixing bowls which included its history. Nothing gets us giddy more than reading the backstory of items that soon become part of our working arsenal of things in the kitchen.
I quickly fell in love with my Mason Cash mixing bowls. I use them for mixing but also as beautiful presentation dishes for salads and side dishes. I assumed Mason Cash only made bowls as I am new to this line of products. I was pleasantly surprised walking around Cornucopia Kitchen Kirkwood to see other items made by Mason Cash. I wanted to buy it all, but I opted to add this cooking spoon rest to my collection so as not to break the bank on this shopping trip. You can bet I will be back in time to add more fun kitchenware, or pet bowls for the Doodle, to the Carondelet Kitchen.
