National Scrabble Day

​​Big Guy and I enjoy board games that do not require a lot of thought especially during Happy Hour. I cannot wait to celebrate Yahtzee Day!

We do; however, enjoy Scrabble. And, yes, Words with Friends on our phones. While we are not ruled by the game, it is enjoyable to pass some time trying to outdo each other with a better word.

I have even stayed in touch with a past colleague by playing Words with Friends almost daily for the past nine years. I hope if I ever miss a day there is no assumption something is wrong. That is a good thing after reading about a woman who did not submit her daily Wordle game causing her niece to call for a wellness check. She suffered a medical emergency, and that call saved her life! Wow!
