National Taco Day: El Catrin!

Never go to the grocery store hungry! I have always believed that statement as I tend to overspend and buy things I really do not need.

In honor of National Taco Day, Big Guy suggested we visit our friends @elcatrinmexkitchen before heading to the grocery store. I will never say no to Mexican food, and well, we had to recognize a national holiday, right?

I have fallen in love with their Tacos Alambre. The flavor combination of steak, bacon, onion, jalapenos, and shredded cheese make this the perfect street taco for me. Big Guy opted for the chicken chimichanga which he ate so fast it made my head spin. It was THAT good.

I missed having my usual Catrin signature margarita, but I had to stay strong for the store. The next worst thing to do, as my friends know too well, is when Big Guy and I go shopping after having a few drinks. No regrets, thank goodness, but certainly funny stories to be shared another day.
