Big Guy and I headed to @legrandsmarket to pick up our ham and turkey for the holiday. It may seem crazy, but I decided to pick up ground chuck so Big Guy could make his version of Salisbury steak to go a small frozen container of mushroom bourguignon we made earlier this Fall. We must eat to keep up our strength, right?
The ingredients are straight forward, much like you use to make a meatloaf. He added onion, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, an egg, and panko bread. He gave it a light sear on the stovetop, then popped them into the oven to complete the cooking cycle. Once done, he topped them with the mushroom bourguignon and served it with a lovely bottle of wine. Life is good!
