Big Guy and I used to travel to Florida each year to visit my snow birding parents. Part of our journey always included a stop in Ybor City for lunch at the Green Iguana and to pick up cigars at Metropolitan for our sunset strolls on the beach.
It was over twenty years ago, but I became enamored with the house margarita at the Green Iguana. I asked about the ingredients, but it was a secret recipe. HA! I was not upset as it just challenged me to make up my own recipe. My old neighbor, Marie, loved it and looked forward to receiving a batch for her freezer every summer! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do either freshly mixed or frozen. Just remember demon is in the name as it tastes like Kool-Aid but has a big kick of alcohol! Recipe: The Green Demon Margarita 1 oz. Cointreau 1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur 1 oz. Top Shelf Tequila of your choice 9 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix OPTIONAL: (not really) Salt the rim and add a lime slice
