Old School Drinks

Do you remember your favorite watering hole with longing because the food was great, and the drinks were fantastic? Big Guy and I talk about this from time to time and even discuss how a place can elevate the food and drinks, along with our mood, especially when we want to be treated to a special evening.

We were reminded of one of these places recently after attending Happy Hour with my Rotary Club. Pietro’s was the location, and the vibe in the bar was old school. I knew the night was going to be one to remember when the bartender handed me my martini glass, empty, and a larger shaker. I managed to get two full drinks from the shaker and ended up being the talk of the group.

And, yes, I did order food with the drinks too! You cannot beat a night at Pietro’s as the food and drinks will be a night you will talk about and try to repeat for years to come!
