Pueblo Solis

We returned to one of our favorite restaurants and ate ourselves silly! @pueblosolis has been preparing traditional Northern Mexican food for over twenty-five years at their Hampton location and we love the fact we have been going there from the beginning.

Our usual place is the patio in good weather with their top shelf margarita at hand. This past trip was also a tribute to Jimmy Buffet passing and our need to toast him with a margarita! Sail on Jimmy!

We love the immediate offering of chips with three different salsas. Honestly, add guacamole and you have a meal! We pushed on and ordered queso fundido for me and enchiladas, one Tex Mex and one Mexican, for the Big Guy. We had been talking about these two items for over a week and the anticipation was worth the wait.

We are fortunate to have a lot of choices in St. Louis for Mexican food, but this is a favorite for a reason. Outstanding food, drinks, and service! Well done!
