salt or no salt? that is the question!

I am going to start another food war here, but Big Guy loves salt on his watermelon. The first time I saw that I recoiled the same way he did when I put catsup on my eggs.

I realized overtime he also loved salt on any type of melon. Who is this crazy man?

I obviously have come to accept this practice. I have even tried salt on melons on occasion as an experiment to better understand how salt can enhance the flavor of sweetness. Who said, “this old dog cannot learn new tricks!”
