Scones

I have a love affair with scones. I adore the variety and texture of them. Give me a lazy day, enjoyable reading material, a cup of tea, and a scone…or two!

With good vibes in mind, I decided to make a batch since my Big Guy is recovering from an illness. I recently bought a new scone pan from @kingarthurbaking which wisely paired scone mixes with the product display. I decided to buy the cranberry orange mix and, following the recipe and tips, was rewarded with the perfect scone.

I am not sure it was a miracle cure, but Big Guy perked up at the sight of them. I was happy that the “fast and easy” assurance on the box was true to its word since I am still working on my baking skills. Whew!
