I usually grab a hot cup of tea when I get cold, but Big Guy and I found some chili-infused pasta which we paired with a jar of arrabbiatta sauce. As if we did not have enough heat in the pot, we added some of our spicy meatballs from the freezer.
I realize some folks may not enjoy a spicy meal, but I found this combination to be exciting and satisfying at the same time. As I took my first bite, I anxiously awaited an explosion of heat. I was surprised that the heat was slow and mellow allowing me to continue enjoying my whole meal. We added some crusty bread and a bottle of Pinot Noir to make our dinner complete and special. How about that for a weeknight meal?
