The winter months can be tough since the days are shorter and the nights are longer, but there are certain foods that always put a smile on my face. Thanks to @VickiNorthrop, Big Guy and I were gifted some honey bell oranges from Hale Groves.
I was instantly reminded why I missed my parents and their annual snowbird trip to Florida. Between bringing home fruit or visiting them on spring break, I was able to get enough citrus to get me to the warmer months when the farmers markets opened again for the season. I hope you have your own way of brightening up your winter days. I may have to play my Pippin soundtrack and belt out "Spread a Little Sunshine" while eating these delicious oranges.
