Spring Strawberries

We recently went to the Tower Grove Market at Rockwell in Francis Park. We walked away financially lighter, but so much richer for the great items we picked up while visiting with the vendors.

The one item I was excited to see was the strawberries. I do not believe I have “meet” a fruit that I did not love, and strawberries are on my list of favorites since I tend to use them from salads to dessert.

Big Guy and I wish we could grow them as well as other items in our garden. Our efforts were always a disappointment. Thank goodness for the growers and farmers who bring this delicious item to our farmer’s markets!
